In D&C 76 we receive a broader understanding of our Father’s love and how merciful He is, and about what happens to us after we die.

How does D&C 76 help to increase your love and admiration for the Savior? How can you more fully receive the testimony of Jesus Christ and be more valiant?
How important is baptism to our salvation and progress?
How is an understanding of the degrees of glory a witness to you of God’s love for His children?
How important are our testimonies to our eternal destiny?
Describe someone you think is valiant? What does it mean to be valiant in the testimony of Jesus Christ?
Heavenly Father’s Plan is for our
happiness and He desires to save all of His children.

How would the world be changed if we all recognized this truth? Would it change how we treat each other?
Those who keep His commandments and follow His law, those who are valiant in the testimony of His Son Jesus Christ have the opportunity and privilege to eventually become like Him.

How does it help you to think of God’s mercy and the infinite Atonement of His Son Jesus Christ in relationship to your salvation, instead of thinking about your shortcomings or failures?

Does this vision affect the way you want to live your daily life and how you picture heaven?

What work do you enjoy? What do you most glory in? The answer to these last two questions might have the greatest impact on your eternal progression.

The Lord delights to reveal truth to us (vs.10; 4-8).
What part does meditation and pondering play in the revelations and understanding we receive? (vs. 19)
Our Heavenly Father loves us and holds us all in His bosom. It is the rebellious that pull away and forsake His love that no longer have that blessing. (vs. 27)
Why is it important to write when prompted to, while in the Spirit? (vs. 28)
What is the Gospel? (Read vs. 40-43)
What role does our testimony play in our eternal destiny?
Our testimonies need to be grounded in the testimony of Jesus Christ and of His eternal mission on our behalf, as the Savior of all mankind; knowing that He lived, died, and is resurrected is of profound importance.

The great majority of Heavenly Fathers children will someday gain salvation (vs. 39).
