Come, Follow Me Lesson 13: Doctrine and Covenants 29 Just like members of the Church today, early saints were curious about different prophecies and promises found in the Book of Mormon. They wanted to understand more about the Gathering of Israel, the Fall of Adam and Eve, and spiritual death. The Lord welcomes our honest questions. In D&C 29:6 He tells us, “Whatsoever ye shall ask in faith, being united in prayer according to my command, ye shall receive.” When we learn to practice faith in the Lord and direct our questions to Him in prayer, we will find that often He blesses us with more understanding than we even initially were asking for.
