Church leaders continue to meet together to discuss the needs of a growing church: publishing revelations, purchasing lands, using funds, means, and talents to care for the poor (see 78 heading). In that day, they organized a group called the United Firm, to advance the cause of the Lord (see vs.4). What different entities has the Church developed to advance the cause of the Lord in our day? As the Lord helps us to take care of the physical needs of each other and the Church, he is actually teaching us about spiritual things and preparing us to receive a place in the spiritual world.
