How is the world we live in like the world during Joseph’s time?
Do you feel like there is a war of words and a tumult of opinions?

We can learn to listen. We can build on common ground. We can allow for agency and freedom of expression.
We can pray to know what is right, and we can receive directions and light. Personal revelation is available to all God’s children through the power of the Holy Ghost, which is a gift from God to all His children.

During Joseph’s day there was an unusual excitement about religion. In our day, the excitement is more about religion not being valid, or about being irreligious.
How can we create a good excitement concerning religion?
How can we create a religious excitement that would create unity instead of division?
Why are the 1st two commandments still the most important when we are ministering or inviting others to come to Christ?
Why is it important to build bridges with other Christian churches and other faiths?
Are we ever right when we are arguing or causing contention?
How can we respond when people question our testimony?
Joseph was an obscure boy of 14-years-old, but people were enraged by his testimony, and they told him it was all of the devil.
Have you ever felt persecuted for your beliefs?
Joseph has had many people report and spread information about him that is erroneous and damaging.
Have you ever felt slandered by wrongful information?
How important is it to you to know that God loves you and will bless you according to your needs?
When God appeared to Joseph, he called him by name. He knows us all by name and loves us each as a beloved son or daughter.
